Yummy Piece of Cake

A still shot that I took in LG, SM Megamall.

As All Souls’ Day is fast approaching, it is not surprising that pumpkins and other paraphernalias are visible at the malls and some offices.  If you are thinking of adding twist to your usual trick  or treat or halloween party, or whatever it is, I encourage you to take a look at these cupcakes:

Cool and looks yummy, aren’t they?

The cupcakes are the product of love and ingenuity by one of my foodies buddies, Yumi.  I remember when she mentioned that after the hardwork in law school, she realized that she wanted to be a baker.  Which made me realized that I wanted to be a ______, and _____, and ______, etc. (laughs!)  In general, there is a tiny voice within us saying that we could have been another one if we are not in our current field.  Bottom line is, there is no limit as to what we can do, when God has blessed us with so many talents, then let’s nurture them without affecting the other aspects of our life. :p

Yumi is a lawyer by day and a baker at night.  Amazing, isn’t it?  I believe we all have a calling, and to bake is hers.  Passion, as I see it. :p  Aside from the cakes above, here are some of her masterpieces:

For the boys. :p
