World Topps

in Food, Philippines

I realized that I have been going much to World Topps in RCBC Plaza since I first dined there in August (they opened early that month) hence I am doing this post.  The first time I went there the store manager was so hands on and there was notice of “on dry run” on each table.  Well, call me ignoramus, but it was quite funny because I thought that they offer just desserts.  I didn’t know that it is a sister company of Barrio Fiesta, etc.  One day in August when it was raining hard, I craved for some Ice Monster-stuff like.  And so I went to World Topps for a misconception that went well. :D

My first try, spanish salpicao.  I definitely liked it that I keep coming back. :D

American mango crumble to satisfy my craving.  As they were still on a dry run, the cup
that they used was a little big. :D  Diced fresh mango is at the bottom.  The concept was
like “save the best for last”.
The menu has a section that read as “Manila Stop Over”… so it is like they are giving you the chance to taste the different toppings of the world.

Creamy and crispy sisig.  Highly recommended!

World Topps’ float is definitely better than Mc Donald’s.

Adobosilog.  I’m not much an adobo person but I liked this.

Best decadence ala mode.

Pinoy’s favorite, liempo.

Adobo flakes.  Yummy!

Korean beef braised.  It is just oh-kay.

Indonesian satay.  I like this, but I had to put a hot sauce to
the chicken barbecue to counter the sweetness of the rice.
To date, my most favorite would be:

Spanish paella!  You gotta try this! :D

Next time I will try their European lengua, Vienna’s puttanesca, Gamberetti pasta, etc.  There’s much to discover in World Topps!
