I always thought that they probably have the same source as those with street vendors. But since I left the country I lost track of news about this. I have no idea if this has been resolved now. Imbestigador usually does a follow-up report. Since I watched that feature in Imbestigador, I’ve never eaten calamares even from Tokyo Tokyo and food stores that offer this if they are situated in Metro Manila.
