One of the nicest offerings in Lulu Hypermarket is its sweets section. Indian sweets are situated beside Filipinos’, one of which I found kooky since it sounded Jollibee. But no, it’s not. The first time I saw this dessert was during a party in Al Sahra Dessert and I thought it was an arabic food. Jalebi is actually one of the most popular sweets in India and is served during the national holidays like Independence Day and Republic Day in the government offices, defense and other organizations.
While it oddly looks like a hard twisted pasta, or colored orange pretzel, I bet that it tastes so sweet cause I searched for its recipe, it requires lotsa sugar.

Interesting, yes. I regret that I didn’t taste it for free during the Annual Party, at least for free.
I’ll definitely try it next time. Still, I don’t want to buy hehe. So orange. Lol.
