Sad thursday
Dear M,
I don’t know when you’ll be able to read this. You would probably have no much time to go online during your month long vacation. You and your hubby might be in 1/8 of your flight by now. I saw you sparkling yesterday as you can’t hide your excitement to be home. I can see you giving big hugs to your parents as you see them at the airport. Enjoy your big lunch with your family tomorrow.
You haven’t been home for almost (more than?) two years. Per my influence, I hope you’ll have the time to hit the malls that are now rocking the Philippines since you left. I know you’re not a foodie, but I believe that the almost everyday babblings that we had influenced you in a way to try exploring the food scene back home. Especially those that I’ve been dying to try, since they opened after I left.
My tummy was grumbling yesterday as you consulted me about your seaside dampa treat to your friends from previous office. Have the room with videoke, ok? And please don’t forget to make tawad (ask for discount) as you do the marketing of fresh stuff.
I am excited for you as you ‘execute’ all your plans for this much-awaited vacation. I forgot to thank you the other day for helping me sort out some stuff about my HK-Macau trip. I can sense effective and efficient ‘planning’ buddies here.
It’s not even a day but I miss you already. I have no one to brainstorm about Pinoy Dream Academy, My Girl, and some flicks at Cinema Global. Ey, I hope you get to watch Sarah’s movie premiere.
I have so many things to say. But to keep it short, miss na kita. Hindi naman ako dati ma-emote, siguro ganun lang talaga pag OFW na. Hehe. I just realized you’re the main reason why it became so easy for me to adjust at work. Why? Because we are together almost everyday, I didn’t have to speak English 100% of a given day. Haha. Seriously, it’s because you are very dependable and without any effort, we found a good friend in each other.
Enjoy Batangas and ‘Pinas.
Missing you,
witsandnuts
PS. I’m excited to see your new set of clothes. Oh well, I would probably catch Mamma Mia tomorrow. I know our type of movies are complete opposites.

Oh, I’m sure you’d feel much better when M tells you all the fun stories from the Philippines. I’m sure you can both e-mail each other while she’s on vacation, right?
True friendship is such a wonderful thing. Cheer up!

I feel better now. I’ve sent her an email minutes ago. I’m naturally not emotional, maybe it’s because I’m away from home. And that I got so attached to her that I missed her so this morning.

Aaw, kakamiss nga eh. Lalo na ang mga kung anu anong kwentuhan natin. Remember nung waiting tayo for the CIA exams results?! Haha, nasa hotel tayo sa Bacolod nun. Kakamiss ang McDo sa Bocaue at mga food trips natin in all those places. Miss u, Amelie! See you soon!
