I'd love to know you more

I am sure I drafted that one, how come it’s missing? Did that happen to you, too? Or that you’re almost to publish your post and it’s taken away by some net glitch? Which led me to ask myself, if I only have three posts which must be saved, which ones kaya?

I started doing random posts in Multiply mid of last year. Five months ago, I realized that I wanted to blog in my own domain for a number of reasons. I was even confused if I’ll leave Multiply since most of my contacts are there. But I’m glad we remained in touch and through witsandnuts.com I got to meet more people, which made me enjoy blogosphere to the fullest.

I am learning a lot from you and I especially like the interaction.  I also enjoy devoting theories about usernames/URL/online names of my readers/commentators. I bet you also wonder about my domain name. =)

To my blogmigos and blogmigas, I’d be glad to know:

  • the story behind your URL/username/domain
  • if you have only 3 posts which can be saved as of today, which are these?  I’d love to visit/re-visit those posts.  Care to share the links? =)
  • any random facts that you want to share.

I’ve also created a page today for my blogroll.  Let me know if you have other blogs that I haven’t included yet. =)

Hrm, interesting post. Well, I’ve been blogging since 2003 :) My first blog was lockload.com, which was full of ramblings of a girl still growing up. Now I’m more mature I decided on knittering. I just began learning how to knit and while learning my stitches, I said I was wittering while knittering. There it was!

Only 3 posts? Well, I dumped all of my old lockload posts. out with the old in with the new. I don’t have a big selection anymore. But I think it would have to be the three below:

    1. To remind me what my garden looked like in the early stages: http://www.knittering.com/?p=26

    2. The start of knittering and pictures of my last trip to Ph: http://www.knittering.com/?p=3

    3. My trip to Mainau with pictures :) http://www.knittering.com/?p=78

My nickname is Kayni. It was given to me by my father. Since I wanted to own a coffee shop, thus came the idea of my URL.

    If I had three posts, I’d save these: http://kayniscornercafe.blogspot.com/2008/06/heartless.html, http://kayniscornercafe.blogspot.com/2008/06/first-entry-after-storm.html, http://kayniscornercafe.blogspot.com/2008/06/my-photo-my-story.html.

I sleep on the train on my way to work; I’ve added Christmas songs unto my iTunes library; and I worry a lot about everything.

yay! first to comment. I have ALOT of blogs and like you, I used to be a Multiply-fan. But not anymore, for many many reasons. I have sayawera.com for the simple fact that i love to dance and “mananayaw” seems to be a not-so-pleasant blog name. Hehe.

i only have a few posts in sayawera.com as of date, but I have to say that i would like to retain/save my poetry posts from my multiply site.

random facts: i love pasta with or without sauce. i hate frogs (cooked or alive) and i hate the taste of popsicle sticks. eeeeeew. hehe :)

    Hi Ms. Jo.

I am using only one blog account, jsmajaba.multiply.com becoz i could hardly maintain one, so an additional blog to maintain will stress me out for sure. hehehe… But, I’m planning to start a new site of my own, something like this. However, I’m still considering hosting costs… Anyways, I used jsmajaba because I thought that a blog should be something nearly formal, as i have seen from a friend who introduced me to MULTIPLY. i thought i should use the same pattern… really… hehe… Then, I just realized that I can actually use a better name, but changing the name of my site will actually mean deleting my account and creating a new one, something i dont wanna do. hehehe

If I can save three posts that i made, i would prolly choose the following:

    1) Moments to Forever (http://jsmajaba.multiply.com/journal/item/85) – For people to see the hopeless romantic in me…
    2) This Boy Called IT (http://jsmajaba.multiply.com/journal/item/29) – For people to know how I am and what I am as a person…
    3) Being Close to 25 Makes Me Shiver (http://jsmajaba.multiply.com/journal/item/169) – I think this just tells people how I look forward to the future. hehehe

Some facts I want to share include: I couldn’t stand a day without anything sweet… I have a sweet tooth and I love doughnuts, chocolates, and cakes. I am a hopeless romantic which is something I am proud of… And lastly, I love massages and sauna… I want to live in a spa spend my days there. hehehe

Hello! I got a lot of blogs too while I was in college, but wasn’t able to update it. Now, I realize I needed a tool to share my thoughts and experiences in my life…so I decided to create a more decent and sensible blog this time. The kutsinta.wordpress.com

What’s with the the name kutsinta? well, a simple reason is because, I love rice cake, and that is kutsinta. :) I still have a multiply named kutchinta, but I chose to make a brand new start for my upcoming delivery.. Ylainey.multiply. No pix yet…

By the way, im 26 and a stay-at-home-gal, my previous work is in IT and used to work in Singapore. I’ll be coming back there this Jan to work again. :)

MRS. G – I called myself Mrs. G even before I started my blog. I feel that the title of Mrs. G***** belongs to the original, my mother-in-law.

BLOGGER – I ended up using Blogger because my favorite blog at that time used the same format. Also, it was easy for me to open an account because I have a Gmail account.

Thanks for the spot on your blogroll!

My blog’s name/URL comes from a nursery rhyme by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow that describes me in more ways than one. Up until five years ago, I couldn’t quite agree with the Fates (and my genes) on one undeniable fact: I have curly hair. ? I finally embraced my curls and the personality that goes with it. They’re now so much a part of me that I felt the nursery rhyme would be a great way to name my blog.

The three posts I would save are
    1) Kalamay – http://www.thegirlwithacurl.com/index.php?s=kalamay
    2) The Real Thing – http://www.thegirlwithacurl.com/2008/07/the-real-thing/
    3) Rock The Vampie Vote – http://www.thegirlwithacurl.com/2008/08/rock-the-vampie-vote/

    Random Fact
    - I still sometimes (when the moon is full, when I feel rebellious or if the winds blow a certain way) straighten my hair. A flat iron helps! (Don’t tell anyone, heehee.)

Hi! I’m a newbie to your blog and I got here through Toni’s weekend soiree.

I like the interaction here so I thought I’d join. :)

My URL has no story. An online friend offered to host me and she offered to give the URL I am now using for my blog because she’s not using it, and it was a waste to not use it cos she paid for it. I used to have my a part of my name as the URL of my old blog but that blog’s long gone. Good thing too because the stuff I had on it were things I would like to erase from memory.

If I could save 3 posts, they would be:

    http://a-glimpse.com/?p=599
    http://a-glimpse.com/?p=610
    http://a-glimpse.com/?p=621

    All are pretty recent posts.

As for a random fact, I think I’m a hypochondriac. I have been mulling over that thought since last week.

My URL is basically a tribute to the city and in particular, a district within the city where I was born. The people and my experiences there helped shape my beliefs, values, and principles in life.

My nom de plum, Panaderos, is very similar to what Penny Lane and Strawvberry Fields were to the Beatles. It’s a place within my beloved district.
