fuddruckers abu dhabi

For some reasons that I wrote here, we had a night out last Thursday for a treat from four office pals. We had dinner in Fuddruckers. Platters or not, its meals are so huge. Pricing and store layout remind me of Chili’s in some ways.

The biggest question that night was thrown to me: while they were having the platter-like meals, why did I just have a cream of mushroom soup (please check that soup in the bread, second photo from down left)? If you’ve followed my recent posts, you probably have an idea that I was quasi-fasting last week. So before meeting up with them, I got home to slash my suit and changed to a denim and brown Snoopy tee. But before leaving, my closest Aunt asked me to make an overseas call cause she had to make random kwento (lambing stories). I got so hungrier after that (having breakfast as my last meal), I ate bulalo and rice before I popped to the dinner party.

So friends, in case you’re reading my blog that’s the whole story. I was sort of nuts to attend the pigging out when I was so stuffed. You teased me so hard last time like I was justifying my dramatic cream of mushroom order that night. Haha. We enjoyed the teasing, aside those directed to me, and of course the random chats. I am especially delighted that they have gotten used to my sidetrip of being a foodie. They only touched the food when I was done taking photos of those. =)

The bowling center nearest to Fuddruckers was jampacked that we had to go to Zayed Bowling Center (the biggest one). In the two lanes next to us are people from my previous office in the Philippines. I always feel glad when we have encounters like that. Never fail to think “it’s a small world”. The next day (weekend), we’ve done bowling again with another group.

Until Sunday, my arms, hands, knees ached. My voice a little gone (I must be laughing and teasing to unnecessary extent!). Despite the aches and discomfort, it’s still okay. As long as one’s mind and heart are happy.
