1001 letters from J
Over time I have preferred to organize and record stuff online. Especially that in my profession, working papers documentation, its review and file exchanges are all happening electronically. We hardly write in the paper itself. However, there are things that will never be beaten through time. One of those is scribbling in a notebook. (I’m about to lose another bit of my anonymity). In fact, I’m working on my 1001 Letters from J.
I am keeping a notebook/journal wherein I randomly write letters to different people. There are no patterns and specifics. I just scribble as the wind blows. I write at the moment and never intend to edit it. I write unguardedly, ignoring the quality of pen strokes. Sometimes, looking back at what I’ve written makes me giggle, confused, ashamed, surprised, anything. Bottom line is, that’s what I wanted to say to that person at that minute. I intend to hand over my 1001 Letters from J project to my favorite grandchild (ideally; sounds like I’m looking too much and certain of the future, ey?). And would probably ask her/him to publish it not for everyone’s consumption.
I’d like to share two old letters in my used to be secret journal/project. The first one was for the most amazing woman that I met and would ever meet in my entire life:
The second one is for a long lost friend. I think I’ve written at least two letters for her in my journal. (|f you’re reading my blog, do you remember our 20-page back to back letters in highschool?)
Well, one notebook can’t accommodate my lifetime project. I can almost smell scribbling in Moleskine once my current notebook reaches the last page.
This is my entry for this week’s Blog Hopping Moleskine Give Away.

i envy your way of being able to still find time to write. I stopped doing my journals years ago and recently, I have been contemplating in going back to it again. This post somehow reminds and encourages me to do it soon.

I’m glad this somehow encouraged you to keep a journal again. Thanks for visiting.
Lovely handwriting Wits.
Before in HS I have those neat strokes but when I entered college, my strokes become straight lines, hahahha (ganun kasi sa Arki eh)!

Hi there, nice entry and memories will always be better being read with our own handwriting rather than blocks of text on a computer/paper. Thank you very much for joining the Avalon.ph Moleskine Giveaways, hope to see you joining the other contests! / Jas
Hi there! I was not so lucky to win the Moleskine give away through Toni’s blog. My current notebook is all used up and I bought a Moleskine yesterday (yay! I so love it!). I’ll check the other contests. Thanks for dropping by.

Nothing beats the power of pen.
I’m now lazy to write manually. But as soon as I get the inspiration, I just grab the book and start scribbling.
*grab the journal/notebook*
Glad to hear that.
Thanks, Jeanny. I observed the big change in some of my highschool classmates’ strokes when they took up Architecture. It is straight and neat.
I guess my grandchildren would be surprised and probably some relatives/ family members. Lol. Sort of the “secrets of J/ the unspoken words” drama. Heehee.
