Photo Hunt: Together

Taken during a friend’s birthday celebration in a Lebanese Restaurant in Abu Dhabi
As the group jumps and hugs are among the most candid photo subjects, I love taking a snapshot of the drinks as grouped. For me, it’s like chronicling the number of people that shared the moments more than the food. Incidentally, I have several random photos of group of cup of coffee and glass of frapuccino/juice/shake. And as I look at each copy, I still recall which cup/glass belongs to whom. Oh well, mine was one of those avocado shakes.
This is my entry for this week’s Photo Hunt.

my favorites are avocado and mango shakes. those drinks really look good.

I love Mango shakes! The tropical weather of the Philippines makes it conducive for shakes.

I can’t imagine an avocado shake. I grew up among avocado groves, and to me avocados are savory, not sweet. I’ll take a chocolate one, please.
i’ll go for strawberry shake!
Whatta perfect shot! and a perfect writing! There’s a connection.

Avocado shakes are love!!! I love freezing the shake in ice cube trays too! Love love love.
I miss mango shake using Philippine mangoes. But try to appease myself with avocado shakes everytime I go to Jakarta. They make the most delicious avocado shakes there with — get this! — chocolate syrup. They call it jus alpukat over there. Here’s a pic of it: http://www.sleeplessinkl.com/?p=62
looks so refreshing!

Very nice commentary with the delicious photo! I often just take pictures of the food we eat with just the idea of capturing the moment, or just to remember the taste and feelings in that given time. I didn’t think of it as an indicator of the people you’re with when you took that photo. I enjoyed this very much.

I love mango shakes, too. But I don’t like the ones from here. I long for Philippine mangoes.
I can imagine vanilla shake with ice cream! Yummeeee!
Especially when it’s made of Philippine mangoes. The best!
Hi Teena, thanks for dropping. I’ll be hopping to other photo hunt entries soon.
Hi there! I’ll be checking your entry in a while. Thanks for visiting.
Those with green shade are avocado shakes. Heehee, parang Ms. Universe nga!
Sorry if I made you gain weight by merely looking at the photo. Lol. Thanks for visiting.
I love anything with choco. I love avocado shake and the fruit itself. It’s especially good when you peel it into pieces and chilled reasonably with milk and sweetener in it.
I go for that occasionally. Depending on what I’m eating.
Thanks.
Me, too! And I miss Philippine mangoes.
Wow! I also see it as a happy photo.
I liked the honeydew shake in Davao and Marbel.
Hhhhm, makapagprepare nga ng avocado dessert sa weekend. Yummeeee!
I’ve checked that entry. The avocado shake from there looks more delicious!
A group of shakes to refresh a group of friends.
