Photo Hunt: Together

al rousha restaurant
Taken during a friend’s birthday celebration in a Lebanese Restaurant in Abu Dhabi

As the group jumps and hugs are among the most candid photo subjects, I love taking a snapshot of the drinks as grouped. For me, it’s like chronicling the number of people that shared the moments more than the food. Incidentally, I have several random photos of group of cup of coffee and glass of frapuccino/juice/shake. And as I look at each copy, I still recall which cup/glass belongs to whom. Oh well, mine was one of those avocado shakes.

This is my entry for this week’s Photo Hunt.

I love Mango shakes! The tropical weather of the Philippines makes it conducive for shakes. :)

I can’t imagine an avocado shake. I grew up among avocado groves, and to me avocados are savory, not sweet. I’ll take a chocolate one, please.

I miss mango shake using Philippine mangoes. But try to appease myself with avocado shakes everytime I go to Jakarta. They make the most delicious avocado shakes there with — get this! — chocolate syrup. They call it jus alpukat over there. Here’s a pic of it: http://www.sleeplessinkl.com/?p=62

Very nice commentary with the delicious photo! I often just take pictures of the food we eat with just the idea of capturing the moment, or just to remember the taste and feelings in that given time. I didn’t think of it as an indicator of the people you’re with when you took that photo. I enjoyed this very much.

I love anything with choco. I love avocado shake and the fruit itself. It’s especially good when you peel it into pieces and chilled reasonably with milk and sweetener in it. :)

  30. witsandnuts says: November 9, 20086:49 pm

I go for that occasionally. Depending on what I’m eating. :)
