The less ordinary combo
I recently fancy my self-made combo, which I named Mc Sugoi Meal. I would buy tuna salad with vinaigrette dressing from Mc Donald’s and Makki from Sugoi. It cheers me up as I devour the seemingly light salad, in between the delicious hurt that strikes my nasal area as I munched the Makki dipped in huge amount of wasabe.
Aside from our old favorite food couples, mangga at bagoong, puto at dinuguan, it pays to ‘discover’ your own version of combo. We have different taste buds, hence, the different preference. I also like:
(a) V-Cut + Coke
(b) Ginisang monggo + spicy hotdog
(c) Mc Donald’s fries being dipped in Chocolate or Caramel Sundae
(d) Danggit + ginisang ampalaya
(e) Bread (preferably pandesal) with spicy pancit canton, dirty ice cream or Spanish sardines as spread
(e) Etc.
What’s yours?

yay, tuna! i have a can of tuna in my cupboard, tucked away as my comfort food when the pinoy hunger strikes.

Mc Donald’s fries being dipped in Chocolate or Caramel Sundae is absolutely perfect. i always do this everytime i’m in McDo. (: i also like mayonnaise as a dip for fried fish, or simply eat rice + mayo. or use it as spread on sandwiches or plain biscuits.

Hahaha, Chippy as palaman. I’ve discovered new interesting combos through this post.
I also do stock canned tuna. I prefer flakes in vegetable oil flavor.
Bread dip in coffee, so Pinoy. I remember my aunts and uncles.
Wow, your combos are so original. I never tried them except for your number 1. I’d like to try Lala crackers and rice. I remember when I was in highschool I tried chicharon and kropeck as ulam (while eating with my hands). So yummy!
Hmmm, the laing pasta sounds interesting. I’ll take note of that.
Yum! I want to try your number 1. Haha, I am mouthwatered as I’m reading the comments.
Heehee.
Really healthy except for the softdrinks, haha.
Sobrang nagutom ako sa number 2 and 5!
Hahaha!
Hmm, masubukan nga.
Coke is incidentally a good match for chips and crackers.
Thanks and thank you, too, for visiting.
I’m curious to try burritos and dalandan shake.
Just reading the comments are more than enough to make me hungry.
You love mayo! Thanks for visiting.
Yay! Lasang pinoy!
I’m addicted to Makki. Hindi ako nagsasawa. Enjoy your weekend!
I like NY cheesecake. I don’t think I’d love to try your number 2. Until now, I am still not used to olives’ taste.
Happy weekend, too!
I am beginning to get hooked with garlic mayo.
Shawarma! Nakakagutom!
I like monggo and tinapa or galunggong, too.
Thanks, Gigi. OMG, I’m hungry again thinking about champorado and tuyo! Thanks for visiting.
A perfect modern generation combo!
Spicy sardines and banana, that’s weird. Masubukan nga.
