No updates from me lately not just because I became expectedly busy, but primarily I was not feeling well. It rained last Sunday morning. Yes, real rain showers in Abu Dhabi (Being rain deprived, they hold an artificial rain show in Marina Mall at 4:30 P.M. everyday). As the raindrops abruptly came at 7:30 AM, instead of running to the hallway, I opted to feel the tiny raindrops until these turned onto showers. I even took a video and recorded the sound of the thunder. I didn’t pay much attention to these when I was still in the Philippines. But because it’s a once in a blue moon event here, consider yourself lucky to see and feel the drops.
Few hours later, I was already chilling and my head was aching like it was being broken into two. And the rest followed. I would say that those raindrops hit me so bad. These drops were different from those that I occasionally ran off in the streets of Makati whenever I’m caught (or I intentionally do with my pals) with no umbrella. I am blessed to be not sickly. Even if you deprive me of sleep for a week, food, and stress me, history says I would survive. Harmful raindrops, indeed. What a way to officially welcome winter. Surprised? Believe me, there is winter in UAE. Lol.
Thanks to all who have asked. The thought meant much. I am relatively well now. Take care, everyone.

I don’t like the rain…but that’s because I hate getting my toes wet!
Feel better soon. I actually like the rain. Mom says I’m “cuckoo” for enjoying being rained on…lol. I like feeling the tiny cold drops hitting my nose and my face.

I love the rain, every drop of it, but not when it storms and flood hits the streets of Gensan, or else, we’re knee-deep. I was actually wondering where you’ve been, hope you get well soon…

I don’t know what’s wrong with the rain here that really make us sick. In the Philippines, naliligo pa nga tayo sa ulan. Maybe because it comes with a chill, very cold spell resulting to flu.
Anyway, take care, get plenty of rest and drink plenty of freshly squeezed oranges. : )

Much thanks, everyone. I’m in good shape now. I’ll be bloghopping soon.
buti naman at okay ka na. Once in a blue moon lang mangayari dyan na umuulan baka hindi healthy yung rain sa katawan not to mention dito na nagkaroon rin tayo ng sakit kapag nabasa ng ulan. i can imagine your excitment sa ulan.
The excitement got me sicked nga yata talaga.
