Photo Hunt: Metal
I was surprised to see this postal box near one of the old branches of Starbucks in Makati in January this year. It’s been ages since I’ve seen one/since I went to the post office. This reminds me of the power of snail mails.
A couple of Indian colleagues invited me for lunch last February. I gave in to their request to try the food in their favorite Indian restaurant nearby the client’s place. The food was spicy as expected but surprisingly tolerable for a Filipino’s taste. This was the first time I ate something not set in the traditional plates.
This is my entry for this week’s Photo Hunt.

Cool photos, that one of the mail box can now be considered a classic a few years from now. Good thing its still there
Have a great weekend!

I never would have thought of using that! I love it.
The metal mailbox is really interesting. Looks extremely heavy as well, no worries of Federal mailbox going missing for sure!!

That’s a nice shiny mail box and the second shot is also great for the metal theme.
Great choices for the theme. I love getting snail mail. In this computer age, I appreciate the people who take time to write letters and cards the “old fashioned” way.
That’s an interesting dish.

I’m testing if I can comment. Funny, your post is not even updated in my pasyalan list.
I know that dish, I’ve seen it in one indian resto here. But I think it goes with some gravy or something where they dip it into. Is that that white stuff on the plate?
loved the photo of the old mailbox. classic

I rarely see a postal box here in Manila…with all the technology, di na masyado uso snail mail. that’s a very rare sight you caught there.
It’s indeed a rare find. Thanks for visiting.
Thanks.
Thanks, Jeanny. It’s surprising to find this within the central business district. Enjoy the weekend!
That postal box in Makati looks like out of place, to think that it’s near a branch of Starbucks.
