I’m feeling oh-kay for the recently exemplified self-control.
That I didn’t read any reviews and join any discussions yet.
It was killing me (lol) each time I received a word from my friends that they have seen the film already. Twice. Some of them thrice.
Twilight opened in UAE today. But I didn’t hit the first screening. I’ve been too busy at work and other things today that I hardly thought about it.
But as I’m writing this post, I’m jotting down my booking confirmation details for the December 5 screening:
I’m two hours away from the weekend. This is the first time I’ve secured a screening seat online. And yes, in Gold Class (ticket is 240% more expensive than the regular slash). Meaning we’re not joining the crowd tomorrow. No queue for me. I’d be among the 32 viewers in the special screening room. It would be so homey then, and even the slightest scream (is there such a thing?), swoons, giggling, popcorn and nachos munching would be drum. It must be FUN watching with fellow Twilighters ala United Nations (let’s see how many of the 32 are Filipinos).

On the other hand, my previous office will be holding its annual themed Christmas party as of the moment I’m in the Twilight screening. Here’s the email conversation between my former officemates/friends:
Me: Anong mask mo tomorrow? (They’re having a masquerade theme)
E (based in the Philippines): (Answered).
Me: Kung andyan pa ko, I’m going to wear an Alice Cullen mask (yung vampire sa Twilight). Tapos pixie hair, etc.
E: Tapos maputing maputi… na pulbos… hehehe.. peace.. sobrang puti ng mga Cullens kasi eh. Parang nag m-MENA…
Me: Ganyan talaga kameng mga Cullens. =)
R (based in Australia, who’s coming home for a vacation, too): Jo, manananggal ka lang. Lokal. Hehe.
Me: Hahaha!
E: Napanood ko sa Ellen yung actor sa Twilight. Gulo gulo ang buhok. Hindi ko maremember ang name.
Me: Whatdaheck! (joke). Bubulabugin ka ng Twilighters pag nabasa nila yung sinabi mo. Sobrang sikat na sya. Si Rob Pattinson yun.
R: Holy cow! Sikat ba ‘yun?
Me: Whatdaheck again! Hahaha. Oo, ‘no? Check mo ‘tong article sa NY Times: Vampire in the Mall
I terribly miss these two friends. It must be worthwhile to reunite with them, as well as with my other good friends. And I’ll be watching Twilight again with them two weeks from now.
Enjoy the weekend, everyone!

Hey, you can check my blog! I wrote about our Twilight Day; Me and my friends went on the fourth of December to Grand Sahara! We were wearing Team Edward and Team Jacob shirts I designed.. Around 15 girls screaming all day at Sahara!
It was amazing, we screamed, swooned, cried, really, I can’t even express it in words! I watched it twice and I’m honestly thinking about a third time. You can send Twilight photos to anita@gulffilm.com …
