Where did time go?

Since my preceding post, this was how time passed by:

December 19-21, 2008

1230am-2am: Dusted off stuff

1030am-430pm: On the road

445pm-7pm: North Park-Convergys merienda/early dinner with group of friends. If you happened to have seen the so loud group that time, as if we have rented the place, that was us.

730pm-10pm: Tsoko.nut-RCBC Plaza dinner with two friends. Tablea cake, batirol, bibingka on the side of the main meal are satisfying. Off to Greenbelt.

1030pm-1110pm: Powerbooks-Greenbelt with the same two friends.

1115pm-230am: Watched last full show of Twilight with same friends. It was their second and mine was fourth time. Twilight discussions after the movie. Bumped in with two former officemates.

230am-5am: Catching up on personal details with one friend, who will soon work in Abu Dhabi, too. We almost didn’t sleep, but I had to because I needed to be up before 6am.

550am-615am: Whirlwind wash up

645am: In Starbucks-6750 (near Makati Shangri la) as meeting point for the tour.

7am: Off to Pampanga for the Ultimate Kapampangan Tour (details will be in a separate post).

7am-12noon: It’s 75% culinary tour. So we started with crispy ensaimada while inside the bus. Light breakfast in Everybody’s Cafe. Sight seeing of old houses and churches in Pampanga.

12noon-530pm: We had a 5-hour lunch in Claude Tayag’s Bale Dutung in Angeles City. Gawd, this is a once in a lifetime experience. A must try for a foodie (and non-foodie)! Can’t wait to share with you the photos and other details. Had a chat with fellow bloggers Anton Diaz, Ivan Henares, Margaux Salcedo (former newscaster and currently a food writer in Inquirer), the awesome tour guide Ivan Man Dy. Got a copy of Kulinarya book and Food Magazine December issue, which had personal dedication from Claude Tayag.

530pm-730pm: Off to Giant Lantern Festival in San Fernando Pampanga. Along the way, kapampangan specialties were given to us by the tour organizers.

8pm-1030pm: Watched the Giant Lantern Fest. It’s amazing and truly entertaining!

11pm-1am: Off the road, back to Makati. While in the bus, a special homemade ensaimada was given to us plus a christmas CD (it’s unique!). Grabe, the tour was soooo sulit!

1am-130am: Washed up in Starbucks-6750.

130am-4am: Coffee marathon with two friends in Starbucks while munching the kapampangan puto pao, ensaimada, brazo de mercedez, etc. (It’s probably obvious now that I have a lot of meet ups, and the timing may seem irregular, but that’s definitely time optimization. Just to patch up schedules and spend time with each other no matter what).

4am-430am: Walked around Greenbelt pre-dawn with the same friends.

430am-630am: Breakfast at Mc Donald’s-Paseo De Roxas (near AIM) with the same friends.

7am: Off to Laguna

Onwards: Off to two separate christenings (for a friend-former officemate and highschool friend), wherein I am the contracted godmother several months back. It just so happened that I’m home for the holidays.

Well, it’s 9pm of December 21. I think I badly need to sleep now.

Sulit na sulit ang bakasyon ah! Natutulog ka pa ba? I was also like that when I was still a bachelor. Bakit kaya ganun. I used to have that kind of drive but as I grow older, I like to stay in one peacefull place nalang.
