Pride and Prejudice
I have just finished reading and watching (luckily there’s an an ongoing sale at Virgin Megastore) Pride and Prejudice. No spoilers here. Can I just say that I liked it a lot? This is definitely Jane Austen’s finest novel. I enjoyed the exchange of arguments between Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy. For me, Elizabeth Bennet is one of a kind in her generation.

I haven’t read the book yet, shame on me, really.
But I love the movie. My husband gave me the dvd as a gift, the one with Keira Knightly. I believe I have seen that movie about 15 times. I put it on whenever I feel sad or fluish/feverish

have you seen the bbc-produced series on P&P? that’s the definitive version of all P&P adaptations (both TV & film). it’s rather long but the the cast is top-notch and the screenplay is the best i’d seen so far of all productions based on j. austen’s work
i love pride and prejudice! (both the book and the film adaptations). my fave line is the opening line – “It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune must be in want of a wife.” Can I still join even if I read the book eons ago? =)
