Oozing with positivity

Optimism is contagious. Sometimes the mere presence of a person or his/her aura cheers us enough. Although physical beauty is delightful to the eyes, I think it gets passe in a minute or so. I prefer to be and be with those oozing with positivity. Scents certainly can influence the mood. It’s been a week since I’ve rested (Lacoste’s) Inspiration and tried a couple of awesome scents from Life Amulets Shoppe in Etsy. Positivity is more in the air since I got Relaxation (Potion No. 2) and Confidence (Potion No. 4), all natural and handmade fragrance.
This is not a sponsored post. I just thought that this is something worthsharing. Life Amulets are a wonderful venture by Maidapaypay and Oodles of Goodles. I’m especially hooked to the scent of Relaxation. I spray a little amount to my pillow at night. This is one of the reasons why I’m having a good night sleep. On the other hand, I use Confidence before battling a meeting or in the middle of finishing a deadline and I’d feel like superwoman.

scents can certainly set the mood…i love fragrances by Philosophy and Body Shop. you’re right, optimism is contagious. life is not an obstacle course when we learn to appreciate the bright side. not that we need to ignore the dark side and pretend it doesn’t exist. but rather than focus on the negative, being optimistic is much more fun and productive.

I have developed an allergy to the scents/perfumes. Not to all, but since I don’t exactly know to what ingredient of the perfume I am allergic to, I shied away from all of these products. Pity cause I miss spritzing myself with something floral especially in the summer time.

I bought two for my wife (for us really) and my MIL, Joy and Relaxation, respectively. A couple of spritz at the linen closet (so the sheets, and towels, smell good too) and the bed and pillows and we’re set for a relaxing evening.

I like natural scents but i prefer to have them in a candle or burning oil. parang mas kakarelax sila with a bubble bath kasi.

funny ang story nitong mga scents, we didn’t really want to sell them but the ingredients were a lot we ended up making so many! dapat christmas gifts na lang until my entrepreneurial sister thought of selling

pure essential oils (the ones you can buy locally na cheap are usually synthetic, you have to look for the certified essential oil)

I agree, it’s like prioritizing our blessings over worries. I like, too, the fragrances from Body Shop.
I didn’t, too until I started working. These Life Amulets are nature-friendly though. I think I’d reorder.
I remember using a cologne (Philippine brand) that caused me rashes, a long time ago. I’m very particular with scents, too. I prefer the mild ones. Yung parang baby lang ang amoy.
