Since I can hardly manage my love for eating and I don’t want to go to gym unless it’s in Makati (lol), I am trying to live healthily by other means. Aside from utilizing the friendly Wii Fit, I jog (and bike) during weekends. Although running is also available in the Nintendo toy, I would not trade running through the fresh air and embracing the morning breeze at least once a week. The following photos will show you my so-called weekend path.

There are other running trails, but right now I’m still enjoying Corniche’s side in Abu Dhabi. You’ll notice that there are still ungathered fallen leaves. You bet I came earlier than the sweeper.

It’s such a long run from the first photo to this one. This is the point where there’s a curve pointing to the underpass. The derail is optional though.

To the underpass, does it look like one?

The straight trail will resume at this point.

If you turn here, you’ll be led to Marina Cafe.

At early morning before the cafe opens, joggers are welcome to sit here.

Whether you’re tired or not, the benches are inviting. In the afternoon, a number of people frequent this area just to snapwalk, enjoy the skyline, or capture the sunset. I used to call this as Baywalk. But I long stopped. Ang laki ng diperensya sa kalinisan at simoy na galing sa dagat. Pero para sa akin, mas maganda pa rin ang dapit hapon sa Manila Bay (Manila Bay sunset).

i meet this bird each weekend

That’s one of the birds that normally stand there. Their presence makes this area more serene.

Be healthy, everyone. Have a great week! :)
