Photo Hunt: Electric

by witsandnuts on September 10, 2009

Hello everyone! I’m back photohunting . ;)

s10

During my visit to Hong Kong Ocean Park, I spent the longest time with the sea jellies. I got so fascinated that I took a number of photos and videos. So engrossed that we were almost late for the sea lions and dolphins show.

s11

The sea jellies appeared to be more mesmerizing because of the effects of changing of lights from green to blue, to red, etc.

I shall say that to a certain extent it became hypnotic because of the background music.

I like the jellyfish area at the Monterrey Bay Aquarium too. That’s where I spent a long time.

Glad you are back hunting with us.

Great photos. I spent ages watching jellyfish last December and was later for the dolphins, so you are not alone.

Wow what striking colour. Are these jellyfish “electric” in a similar way that electric eels are?
