The clouds speak

Taken via iPhone on 26 November of last year at 6:57 AM. Shown is part of the nearest mosque to where I live. When the clouds are acting like that, it’s announcing that winter is here. Believe it or not, there’s winter in the Gulf. And it started early this year. Bed weather and I’m afraid to bathe weather alike.

I remember it gets cold as well in Saudi Arabia during winter – the only time when I also see clouds like what you’re seeing now in UAE. Don’t know about “afraid to bathe weather” ha ha ha – mga Arabo lang yata yun.

You’re so right about the “afraid to bathe weather” part! I hate having to take a bath during winter because it’s so darned cold. The heated water merely provides temporary relief. Argh… I hate winter.

On your way to the office? Hindi pa rin malamig dito sa Saudi. How about in Dubai? Pero since yesterday, I’ve started using hot water for my bath. Water is getting colder na kasi. I’m still waiting for the last shamal prior to the winter season. That’s my gauge in declaring na ‘tag-lamig’ na nga sya. And it easily gets dark na rin dahil 5:30pm pa lang dito sa Saudi, wala ng araw. I long to feel that Chrismast-sy feeling na dala ng tag-ginaw.

Yes, going to the office. I was in Dubai last weekend. Hindi pa ganun kalamig doon.
jo, the skies in abu dhabi are so blue! it never gets that blue here in pinas anymore, mainly due to pollution. inggit ako, manila needs to clean its air stat!
