Abu Dhabi's Santa Claus and elves

Filipino Santa Claus

I never thought that December in a Muslim country would also be gay and colorful just like in Metro Manila. Last year, I have not witnessed the “blossoming” of Christmas trees and other stuff associated to our most favorite season of the year because I was vacationing in the Philippines. But of course, nothing beats spending Christmas at home.

Filipino Santa Claus and Elves

As a kid, I don’t remember believing in Santa Claus and the elves working on the toys as Christmas gifts. We were oriented in our family that Santa Claus is not real. KJ no? Heehee.

But still, I was so giddy when I saw Santa Claus and the elves (yes, they are Pinoys!) in one of my favorite malls before watching Avatar. Just now that I am old enough, saka pa ako naexcite na makita si Santa. :)

Happy Holidays. It’s a good thing Christmas day falls on a Friday this year, which means holiday nyo right?

I am really thankful I was raised not knowing or believing in Santa Claus :)

Yes, buti na lang Christmas and New Year will be on a Friday, which is a weekend. Otherwise, regular working day yun. But of course, I’d take a leave if that happens.

Re: Santa Claus, I’m relieved I’m not the only one. Heehee.

Medyo payat lang si Santa ng UAE e no? Natuwa naman ako to see our kababayans as elves!

Did I believe in Santa? Oo. Once in my lifetime — when I was kid, I secretly hoped to see him put gifts in my Christmas stockings.

Later on na-realize ko, everybody naman pala has the capacity to becoming a Santa.

    Merry Christmas to you too!
