Breaking the rules

We shall not step on the benches. But it seemed like a lot broke this rule as they watched the parade during the UAE’s 38th birthday. Who can resist? Me. However, although it is discouraged to photograph strangers in this part of the globe, the shuttering and zooming were so tempting.
This is my entry for this week’s photo hunt (theme: broken).

photographing strangers is discouraged there? but they’re the most interesting subjects! especially when they’re not looking!

Hi Dom! Kelan pa sya umuwi? Nakakamiss dyan sa atin.
Notice kung sino ang mga “pasaway”? Sila yung mahihilig sa “curry” at sibuyas.
Happy Valentines, Ms.Jo!

Hahaha. Wala nga akong nakitang Pinoy na sumampa sa benches that day.
what will happen if you were caught breaking the rules?
Penalized. But I have no idea about the weight of the penalty. Although that particular day, I don’t think they penalized anyone.
Looking at your photo, I almost thought you were in Pakistan or India and not UAE

I thought about that, too. There’s a huge population of Indians and Pakistanis here. The same with Filipinos. On a normal day, it would feel like I’m just in Manila or Makati with too many Filipinos around. Everywhere.
amen. i’ve done the same thing myself every once in a while
(i.e. watching exciting games)

wonder who/what was on the parade that most of them really found a nice view to watch it.
i’m definitely law-abiding, obedient citizen so i cannot relate! hehehe.
