The divers who never get tired

Waterfalls

Taken on 26 February 2010 at The Waterfalls, Dubai Mall

The waterfalls traverse the entire height of the mall, which is four levels. It is coupled by art sculpture of human divers which are made of fiberglass. I think that the presence of the divers made a big difference. It visually enhanced the rhythmic flow of water.

And did you just notice that the divers are all naked (with the right amount of abs there!)? And we thought that UAE is sort of strict in this aspect.  ;)

    Hi, new here =)
Just wanna share that those were sculptured by fellow Filipinos, specifically led by an Ifugao =)
There are more pieces done by them when you go around Dubai Mall, including the eagles at the gold souk, and some inside kidzania =)

nice! i think it’s logical for those fiberglass diver-sculptures to show their abs; pangit naman kung naka long sleeves sila on that gorgeous man-made waterfalls, di ba? hehehe…

Currently, I use Canon 450d (SLR) and Canon SX 200 (point and shoot). But for these waterfalls photo, I used the point and shoot.

Best of luck on your photography class. I have not joined any group yet. I hope to find time. :)
