The Very Best of Astrud Gilberto
I don’t write so often about my love for music and my being so intent about making playlists. I would like to share though this album that I have been thinking of for so long. Photo taken more than 2 years hence (Etihad flight).
Well, I was not really searching for it, but it occasionally plays in my head. It all started during my first trip to Abu Dhabi. This airline has a very, very good music collection/library. It came to a point that during the 8-hour flight I put up a couple of playlist after sorting almost half of the collection. And it is so weird of me that when I would be traveling the same route, I would reserve the same seat number hoping that my playlist is still there. Thankfully, no one is deleting it. Anyway, my fascination cannot be sustained like that forever. So, I gave in and finally have my most favorite among the albums from the airline’s music library.

i love her! i fell in love with bossa nova because of her with her husband joao and carlos jobim. even in HS, i enjoyed the music. only in college did i learn what people actually call it! thanks for the link!

DINDI BY WILLIE BOBO IS INCLUDED IN THE 105.1 CLASSIC CROSSOVER COLLECTION ENTITLED, “UNWIND”(I), AYOS. BUT, FREDDIE GARCIA(abs cbn) DID SING IT well when ms. vernie varga asked him to do so during one of its christmas episodes. Indeed, pilipinas got talent.

i think i’ll know these songs once i listen to them. i haven’t been listening to any music lately except for the ones that come on the radio when i’m driving. i don’t even know what’s the most popular music these days. ugh, i feel so behind.

Alam mo parang may kanta si Astrud na wala dito sa list, I can’t pinpoint which song of hers that I really like.
