I am writing this draft as of 14th of March. I am already in the Philippines for a weeklong vacation by the time this (scheduled) post gets published. It is summer time there and eating watermelon is one of the better options to freshen up.

These pretty ladies were trying to act scared (or thrilled?) as if they were going to be crunched by those sharp teeth in real life.

The shiny and uniquely shaped building there is the main office of the leading real estate developer in Abu Dhabi. I wonder if they just wanted to be very different from the rest or it has something to do with the symbolism that the shape is representing. Although it has a lot of meanings, I opt to associate the spiral shape with continuity.

I think this camel stuffed toy is absolutely unique. Not your typical bear around the corner. I took photos before sending this to a blogger pal as a housewarming/birthday present, together with another UAE memorabilia.

And yes, her name is Sandy (as in Sandy from the Land of Sun and Sands). I wonder what are the names of the real camels we met during the Desert Safari last year.

We shall not step on the benches. But it seemed like a lot broke this rule as they watched the parade during the UAE’s 38th birthday. Who can resist? Me. However, although it is discouraged to photograph strangers in this part of the globe, the shuttering and zooming were so tempting.

I am an average ice skater. I remember my initial try on the ice skating rink in SM Megamall. I fell countless times. My ass cried the next day. I am thankful that the new ice skating rink that opened in Abu Dhabi is nearby.
